Computer wholesaler for 25 years, Acadia Informatique is a key player in PC integration and the gaming world. The 60 employees of this family company supply resellers, companies, professionals, associations and administrations with more than 5,000 references from the biggest names in the sector.

Challenge: Track payments to be more responsive

When Acadia Informatique reviewed its digital environment (e-commerce site and ERP), Julien Chan, the marketing and operations manager, wanted more transparency in the payment process in order to build customer loyalty.

The company was not aware of abandoned baskets due to rejected payments. They were looking for a tool that could track failed transactions in order to quantify and remedy them.

The new solution had to reduce the payment processing time in order to ship orders as soon as possible. Indeed, for security reasons, Acadia Informatique prepares the orders of new customers only when the payment is validated and the funds are available. For regular buyers, the products are sent as soon as the basket is validated, if their outstanding balance is not exceeded. If the amount of pending invoices is too high, they must pay part of it before any additional delivery.
